Visualizing a design in a 3D environment can make all the difference.
Concept & Purpose
As a proposition to get an Andersen Hitches product into a big-box store (Walmart), Walmart’s corporate office requested we revamp the product packaging to emphasize the safety and simplicity of the product. They also asked to see more versatility for shelf display. The packaging was designed in Adobe Illustrator and mocked up in Adobe Dimension.
Assets
Along with a new box came new images. Our previous in-use product images were a little out-of-date, so I saw it fit for a little shoot.
One of the kickers for these product images is the Walmart version of the product had not been made yet. The good news is the Walmart version of the product was only a different color, so it’s a fairly simple fix with a hue/saturation adjustment layer and a bit of masking in Adobe Photoshop.
